Old dutch editions of Transformers DVD's

The Fouth and final DVD in this particular series  is, again, a Generation 2 DVD, Transformers Deel 4 (Part4) Bought at a dutchBart Smit toyshop in 2003 or 2004

Like part 1,2 and 3, it has three episodes on it and is very nice to own.

next week: will it be reversed ?? Will Grapple be on the DVD Menu ?

NO ! It's all Decepticon ! But, having said that, there is a grapple connection here. on the previous DVD cover, Grapple can be seen, holding some sort of device. Well, the first story on this DVD will explain that image.

 

 "Deel" means Part

"Speel alles" means Play All

"Hoofdstukken" means Chapters

"Ondertiteling" means Subtitles

"Aan / Uit" means On /Off

 

The Master Builders

"Hoofdmenu" means Main menu.

"Verder" means Next

 

A Decepticon in King Arthur's Court

"Terug" means Back

"Hoofdmenu" means Main menu.

"Verder" means Next

 

The Golden Lagoon

"Terug" means Back

"Hoofdmenu" means Main menu.

All great episodes, but I have a little dislike for the second episode.

The Master Builders is simply epic and shows just what obsession can do. A Decepticon in King Arthur's Court , I had forgotten this classic episode, oh I mean I was really trying to forget this one. too much human action. The Golden Lagoon....Awh. Mayhem and sweetness in one episode.

This series will return is some shape or form but next week it is time for some other DVD's.

The second DVD is a Generation 2 DVD, Transformers Deel 3 (Part3) Bought at a dutch Bart Smit toyshop in 2003 or 2004

Like part 1and 2, it has "three"(2 actually) episodes on it and is very nice to own.

Here are some screenshots from the menu structure: Interesting to think back and note that for DVD01, Starscream is on the Cover image and Prime is featured on the Menu image. The powers that be decided to change it again. Grapple on the cover image and Sunstreaker on the menu image.

Again, all great episodes, The Core is simply epic and made me love the constructicons and I AM just a sucker for endings like that one has. Dinobot Island, I had forgotten this classic episode, I remember being thrilled when this first went out (in G1 form, remember that these are all G2 cartoon versions) and really wanted to see the resolution to that cliffhanger.

All great episodes, SOS Dinobots is simply a classic, my first encounter with the Constructicons.

Heavy metal war also excellent, probably my favorite.

The Autobot run is pure nostalgia.
